MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR AJAY

Light Homes invested 14 years in Ajay to make him a man where he is today. He was brought into Light Homes at the age of 5 years. He is from a poor family and he is from a people group called Dalit (untouchable). Light Homes decided to bring him under their wings, clothed him, fed him, provided him with shelter and education. Because of the support that was provided to him, he had finished his industrial training.
We are delighted to witness Ajay, so innocent looking introverted boy, turning to a handsome, kind-hearted, Christ loving person, working in a large manufacturing company in the city of Hyderabad making steel plates, said the principle of the school. Currently he is being trained and earning an income of $300 per month. On completion of his training, in six months’ time, his salary will be increased.
We are thankful to God for the opportunity given to us to be part of Ajay's life, and to be of great influence for where he is today. The most of Ajay's sponsorship came from Australia. Ajay is thankful to God for that he is able to send money to his family and grateful to Light Homes for building a foundation for him to stand on.
Hard working mums and dads of Australia made it possible for Ajay. Thank you for your support and we do not have words to express our gratitude, said the principle of the school. Like Ajay, there are other boys and girls, who had been through Light Homes. Currently we have 270 students studying.
