ICI projects are carefully chosen and we ensure that the projects we choose comply with our compliance standards. We intentionally practice acts of kindness by caring for the needy, and provide support and relieve for the suffering people and ourselves. Self-kindness, acceptance, and non-judgmental are some of our attitudes and these attitudes are the keys that open the heart of Compassion. We have a deeply embedded believe that-“Hands that help are better than lips that pray” Also, we have strong external management and control standards for managing overseas activities and control of resources, including the funds that we provide.

The Church is a group of people, who are made up of those who follow Christ. For God, people matter more than religious rituals. Too often we are wrapped up in our own little world and fail to recognise those that we should care about the needs of others as well. God of the bible cares about our attitudes toward and actions regarding the hungry, the oppressed, the widows, the strangers, and the or orphans. The bible speaks of God's people being chastised for not treating the poor as equals, since He blessed us to be a blessing to the less fortunate people.

Fundraising involves with voluntary contributions of money or other resources. Donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies for the purpose of accomplishing the goals of our not-for-profit activities. We love to incorporate volunteers into our events as this is a great way to build relationship with the community and making them aware that they too, together with us, can make a difference in a person’s life somewhere in the world.

A Mission Sunday is where Christians around the world, calling on the congregations to cast their hearts and minds to bring about the reign of God in the lives of others, by sharing from the blessings of God. Christ told His disciples, “You are the light of the world. People don't light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Also, Christ equates Compassion towards those who are suffering to knowing God.

At ICI, we put our faith into action through advocacy for the needy and the poor. As per the commandment of Christ, we have become a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. Together we can eliminate extreme poverty from the faces of children and women around the world. We should acknowledge their dignity, their worth and their value as a human being. Prayer is interacting with God. We turn to prayer because it is the most personal way to experience God, to encounter Him and to grow in knowledge of Him. God's desire is for us to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”. Through Prayer, we admit our needs, learn humility, and claim dependence upon God. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of our Heavenly Father.

ICI works with local businesses in helping them create strong community relationships. Part of this, involves with encouraging local businesses to go beyond the occasional charitable donation. In the changing world, "It is an ethical imperative for all businesses to invest in their communities in which they wish to do business, and beyond, helping the needy with the aim of making those communities better places to live.
