WELLS IN CAMBODIA
When a water supply is affected it impacts every area of a person's life. Health is impacted because often poor water quality results in sickness and disease. Education is affected because children are often sick and cannot attend school. Poverty is increased because families spend the majority of their time trying to collect or buy clean, healthy water and the list goes on. Water is such a vital part of life and often in poorer countries access to good, clean water is difficult for many people. Water is one of the most basic human needs for survival.
We are helping to bring change to communities by constructing wells in villages that do not have access to clean water. These wells bring transformation to communities. Our partners strategically place a well in a village where everyone can have access to water, and no one is restricted.
ICI is grateful to its donors for partnering with us for providing truly life-giving-improving health, sanitation, crops, the health of their animals and so much more to the people of Cambodia.
Our vision is to join hands with our local partner to build 15 wells in 2020, the avearge cost of each well is $4,000. We would like to contribute $20,000 towards this project.
