Children are the future of the world- The true image of the living GOD

Out first priority should be the nutrition of our children. Some of the health problems associated with poor nutrition can be very serious, especially as a child grows into an adult. Nutrition refers to everything that a child eats and drinks. A child's body uses nutrients from food to function properly and stay healthy. The nutrition a child receives during the first few years of life can affect her health for years to come. Balanced nutrition is important to child development because children need specific nutrients to thrive and grow. Based on data for 2011 or the closest available year on measured height and weight for people aged over 15 years, more than half (53%) of adults in Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries are overweight or obese [1]. Australia’s rate of obesity (28% of the population aged 15 and over) is fourth highest among 34 OECD countries, behind the United States (37%), Mexico (30%) and Hungary (29%). On the other side, And yet over 900 million people – or 1 in 7 people – are still living in extreme poverty. Many are kids. The latest data tells us that 47 percent of those living in extreme poverty are 18 years old or younger. If we want to end poverty one day, we need to focus on them.In sub-Saharan Africa alone, 247 million children are deprived of their basic rights.

A 2010 study from "The Journal of Nutrition" found that undernourished 2-year-olds were 16 percent more likely to fail at least one grade in school and entered school later than their well-nourished counterparts. The scientists behind the study determined that this could decrease the child's lifetime income by about 10 percent. The United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition says that even in mild or moderate situations, stunted growth resulting from poor nutrition is correlated with poor academic performance and lowered mental capacity. Imagine of being part of a "privileged team" and making a different in a child’s life.....

Yahushua (Jesus) said- But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.
