Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

The Bible says in Psalms 23:6 that His goodness and mercies shall follow us all the days of our life. Since we are the body of Christ,

  • We are supposed to continue the good works of Yahushua Christ.

  • God cannot give anything to anyone today except through our hands.

  • God’s Word cannot heal anyone unless it is spoken by our mouth.

  • God’s eyes cannot see and His ears cannot hear the problems and the cry of the people except through our eyes and ears.

  • God’s heart cannot be moved, with compassion and love towards the needy, suffering and poor unless our heart moves with compassion and love.

  • This is the way God operates normally. Therefore, we must realize that all the riches and resources of God shall be released through our prayers, when our motive is good and right for asking.

  • It is very important that we have a covenant and a partnership with God for the supplies of the resources, which are necessary not only to meet our needs, but also to meet the needs of other people.

  • As a matter of fact, God is desperately looking for channels through which He can supply the needs of the people all over the world and to bless and to do good to them.

  • But unfortunately, there are many containers and only a few channels available  to God to make a fair and equitable distribution of His wealth and riches to the people living in this world.

  • It is Satan who uses his influence to hinder the flow of God’s riches to the needy, poor and suffering by making people covetous, worldly, selfish and discontented. We should be sensitive to the needs of the people around us and be a blessing to them.

There is no limit to what we can receive from God. No matter what we ask for and how much we ask, it shall be granted unto us. When we  give a lot to the poor, God will give us a lot. We may have just a little right now, but God wants us to demonstrate our love for others by giving a portion of that little that we have now.

Our motive, desire and heart beat should be to give, bless, and do good to others, which is nothing but the expression of our love to our neighbours and which is also the greatest commandment that God gave us. When we launch out and venture to fulfill this great commandment, God will unquestionably back us up with all of His resources both in heaven and on earth. Therefore you may be absolutely sure that when you ask for something that is good for you or a blessing to others, He will be just delighted and thrilled to grant that request.
